Cascade Fencing & Repair stands behind the quality of our installation work. Every wood fence we install is covered by a 2 year workmanship warranty from the date of completion. This warranty covers defects in our installation while accounting for the natural behavior of wood and conditions outside of our control.

What's Covered

Installation defects that fall under our workmanship

Fence Posts

If a post becomes loose or leans due to improper setting or insufficient concrete, we will reset it at no cost.

Gates & Hardware

If a gate binds, sags, or fails to operate properly because of how it was installed, we will repair or adjust it at no cost.

Structural Framework

If rails, panels, or fasteners fail due to a workmanship error rather than normal wear, we will correct it at no cost.

What's Not Covered

Wood is a natural material, and some things are outside our control

Natural wood characteristics: warping, cupping, twisting, cracking, checking, splitting, and color change from sun and weather exposure. These are normal characteristics of wood, not defects.

Acts of nature: wind, storms, flooding, snow and ice, lightning, and other weather events beyond normal conditions.

Ground movement: frost heave, soil erosion, or settling that shifts posts after installation.

Lack of maintenance: rot or deterioration caused by not staining, sealing, or maintaining the wood as recommended.

Damage from others: landscaping equipment, vehicles, pets, tree roots, or work performed by anyone other than Cascade Fencing & Repair.

Moisture exposure: damage caused by sprinklers, standing water, mulch, or vegetation in direct contact with the fence.

Alterations or repairs made by someone other than Cascade Fencing & Repair.

Insect activity and general wear that occurs over time with any wood structure.

Coverage Period

This warranty covers our installation workmanship for 2 years from the date your fence is completed.

Who Is Covered

This warranty applies to the original customer at the original installation address. It is not transferable to a new owner if the property is sold.

How to File a Claim

Call us at (253) 228-9101 or email cascadefencing3@gmail.com with your name, installation address, and a description of the issue. We will schedule an on-site inspection to evaluate the claim.

Our Response

If an issue is found to be covered under this warranty, we will repair or correct the affected workmanship at no cost to you. This warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages, or the removal or replacement of landscaping or personal property affected by a repair.
